About the position
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Digital Engineer to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in designing, developing, and verifying high-reliability digital electronics for various applications, including processor/FPGA boards and low-power electronics. In this role, you will shape digital hardware architectures and lead development efforts, supporting National Security missions through innovative microelectronics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate project requirements into efficient hardware architectures.
- Design instruments, including microprocessors and analog components.
- Solve issues and ensure timely project completion in collaboration with team members.
- Build and test prototypes, prepare documentation, and support manufacturing efforts.
- Research innovative solutions for advanced designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in electronic design, microprocessors, and embedded computing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Required: experience with schematic capture, board layout, and circuit simulation using HyperLynx/ANSYS.
- Preferred: familiarity with Mentor Graphics and Xilinx/Microchip FPGA design flows.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
